A Scottish restaurant located in the heart of Leith from Michelin-starred chef James Murray and the team behind Nauticus Bar

We were appointed as the principal contractor for the refurbishment and conversion of the former Portland Bar into Dogstar Leith. The project involved a complete strip-out of the existing premises, followed by a full interior refit delivered through our in-house multi-trade team. We provided a comprehensive service package encompassing all construction, joinery, electrical, and finishing works.

All bespoke joinery elements, including the bar top and back-bar gantry, were manufactured in our purpose-built workshop. The gantry, paired with mirrored backing panels, serves as a key interior feature. We also produced and installed custom-designed timber panelling and a bespoke bar top, ensuring design consistency and high-quality finishes throughout the venue.
